HeadStuff.org is a collaborative website interested in a wide range of topics including; literature, history, science, art/photography, humour, music and film. They are always open to submissions in any of those fields, and are constantly striving to keep the site continuously fresh with high quality work.
Headstuff is relatively new but their readership was growing and their old website wasn’t able to cope with the demand. The work load for administration was building up and load times for the pages were also on the rise. Qwerty.ie set up an efficient CMS, added a CDN and optimisation for speed, as well as SEO and analytics to track the growing audience needs.
The new web design for Headstuff not only looks exactly like the client wanted, under the hood the website works like a piece of clock work and the quick results seen in rocketing search impressions (how often the website appears in search results) and readership is evidence of that.
Search impressions have gone from an average 30 impressions a day to a massive 30,000+ impressions every day, and still increasing. This happened in just one month thanks to efficient SEO and continued work by the Headstuff editor following training from Qwerty.ie.
The result means that Headstuff.org is getting top placements in Google search results. If they paid for these positions then it would cost hundreds of euro a month. Qwerty’s SEO gets them it for free!
